7.6 Temporary interruptions
(Total-stop version)
· When the spray gun lever is released the machine will stop.
· When the lever is pressed once again, the machine will start.
7.7 Switching off the machine
· Switch off the machine by moving the switch to OFF and remove the
electric plug from the socket.
· Close the water supply.
· Press the spray gun lever until the machine is depressurised.
· Use the safety device to make sure the spray gun lever cannot be
accidentally opened.

8 - CARE AND MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION
· BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY MAINTENANCE WORK REMOVE
THE PLUG AND MAKE SURE THAT THE MACHINE IS NOT PRES-
SURISED.
· A maintenance contract may be stipulated with your dealer.
· The first oil change (the most important) must be carried out after
the first 20 working hours.
8.1 Weekly
· Control the oil level
If the oil is milky (water in the oil), contact the technical service centre
immediately.
· Clean the water inlet filter.
8.2 Monthly
· Clean the detergent intake tube filter.
8. Yearly and after 500 operating hours or whenever neces-
sary
· Change the oil.
Unscrew the oil drain cap and send the used oil to an authorised col-
lection centre for disposal (environmental protection).
After the oil has been completely drained, screw the drain cap back
on and slowly introduce the new oil until it reaches the position indi-
cated on the sight glass located on the pump cover (eliminate any air
bubbles).

, chapter 1.
8.4 High pressure hose
· Carefully control the H.P. hoses.
· Every H.P. hose must comply with safety standards and must be
marked with the approved pressure and the maker's name.
· H.P. hoses may never be bent, pulled, crushed or damaged in any
way.
· H.P. hoses are dangerous and must be replaced immediately.
· H.P. hoses with insufficient pressure sealing or irregular repairs are
dangerous.
Only use approved and marked H.P. hoses (original H.P. hoses comply

with safety standards).
8.5 Power cable
· THIS OPERATION MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY THE TECHNICAL
SERVICE CENTRE – The power cable must not be damaged (risk of
electric shock). A damaged power cable must be immediately replaced
by the technical service centre or an authorised technician.
8.6 Protection against freezing
· If machines are not completely drained of water, they may be su-
bject to freezing. During winter, the machine should be kept in an area
sheltered from the frost; otherwise it should be drained or washed with
antifreeze.
· Emptying the equipment
Unscrew the water supply hose and the high pressure hose from the
machine.
Operate the machine, (max. 1 minute) until the pump and the hoses
are drained.
· Antifreeze
In case of long periods of inactivity, an anti-freeze product should be
pumped into the machine.
This also give fair protection against corrosion.
8.7 Long period of inactivity
· If the machine remains inactive for a long time, some scaly sediment
may form that may make the machine difficult and damaging to start. In
these cases, in order to prevent irregular current input with consequent
voltage drops, the motor shaft should be moved before the machine is
started.
· This will also allow you to discover if the machine is frozen or blocked
by deposits and consequently prevent it from being damaged.
