2.2 Function
17B23, 17B33, 17B45, 17B91, 17B92
The locking mechanism consists of a centred lock lever (4) and a centred
lower joint section (2). The lock lever for system knee joints with a concealed
locking mechanism and compression spring (17B23, 17B45, 17B92) points
up. The lock lever for system knee joints without compression spring
(17B33, 17B91) points down.
17B23=K
The locking mechanism consists of an eccentric lock lever (4) and an
eccentric lower joint section (2). The short lock lever has a stepped bore for
the cable pull release.
3 Application

3.1 Indications for use

The system knee joints are to be used exclusively in pairs for the orthotic fit­
ting of the lower limbs on a patient.
INFORMATION
Increased wear
The system knee joints are intended only for use in combination with free-
motion or foot lifting system ankle joints. In a combination with system
ankle joints with a dorsal stop, the components are subject to more rapid
wear.
