Should the prosthesis be subjected to unusual stresses (such as a fall),
immediately contact your prosthetist and have the prosthesis inspected
for any damage. If necessary, the responsible prosthetist will pass the
prosthesis on to the Ottobock Service Centre.
NOTICE
Risk of corrosion. Please avoid exposing prosthetic components to sur-
roundings that corrode metal parts, for example, freshwater, saltwater,
acids and other liquids.
Using this medical product in such environmental conditions will render
all claims against Ottobock HealthCare null and void.
NOTICE
Risk of damage due to improper environmental conditions. The pros-
thesis and its components should not be subjected to intense smoke, dust,
vibrations, shocks or high temperatures. Do not allow debris or liquids
to get into the prosthesis and its components. Failure to follow these
instructions can lead to malfunctioning and damage of the prosthesis.
NOTICE
Risk of damage due to use of improper cleansing agents. Do not
use any aggressive cleaning agents since they could cause damage to
bearings, seals and plastic parts.
2.4 Function
The MyolinoWrist 2000 is available in the following designs:
10V51=1 for lamination into a forearm socket.
10V51=2 for bonding into a forearm component with a Ø 40 mm wrist
connection.
The MyolinoWrist 2000 is a ball joint which allows a continuous flexion of
the wrist joint up to 30° in all directions. A passive pronation and supination
is provided by the 8E51 Ottobock Electrohand 2000.
