OPERATION GUIDELINES
Clean all parts of the appliance before the first uses.
l
Assemble the thumb guard and the sliding feed table.
l
Put the sliding feed table in a vertical position in order to mount it correctly on the support.
l
Add the piece holder.
l
Select the slicing thickness by turning the adjusting knob.
l
Plug in the appliance. The slicer is now ready for use.
l
Lay the food to be sliced between the blade and the piece holder.
l
Push simultaneously the on/off button and the safety lock with your left hand. The blade will start
l
rotating. For safety reasons, the appliance only works if both buttons are pushed.
Push the sliding feed table with your right hand to bring the food to the blade.
l
To avoid food sticking to the appliance, you can moisten the blade with a wet towel beforehand. This also
l
allows you to slice more easily.
Always use the piece holder when slicing small parts.
l
Do not slice meat with bones, food with large seeds, rolled roast without removing the string, wrappers
l
(i.e. aluminum foil), frozen food or any hard, inedible food parts.
Connect the mains lead to a properly installed 230V, 50Hz safety power socket.
l
When operating in levels 1 or 2 snap the selector into the desired position:
l
Level 1 = low speed
Level 2 = medium speed
Level 3 = high speed
For 1~3 Speed, continuously operate time must be less than 3 minutes.
l
In order to switch off the machine, please affranchise the Safety button.
l
All loose parts can be cleaned in soapy water.
l
Please wipe the motor block only with a slightly damp cloth. Please do not use caustic detergents or
l
abrasives.
Please reassemble the parts again in reverse order.
l
Before use, all parts must be screwed together tightly and securely.
l
CLEANING
The switch has to be in position OFF and the appliance has to be unplugged from the power supply before
l
cleaning the appliance.
Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth. It should not be washed
l
in a dishwasher.
Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the
l
finish.
The blade can be removed for cleaning. To do so, use a screwdriver to loosen the three bolts on the blade
l
and take off the blade carefully. After cleaning, install the blade with the bolts.
Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
l
Dry all parts well before storage.
