MAINTENANCE
All maintenance should only be carried out by an authorized service organization. This digital
level has been designed to be a low-maintenance tool. However, in order to maintain its
performance, follow these steps.
HANDLE the tool with care. Treat it as you would a precision optical device, such as a
•
camera or binoculars.
AVOID exposing the tool to shock, continuous vibration or extreme hot or cold temperatures.

STORE the tool indoors and in a safe place.
•
If the level is splashed with mortar or other construction site residue, simply wipe clean with
•
a dry cloth. DO NOT immerse the level in water.
Aluminum surfaces can be cleaned with a non-abrasive powder.

Check the batteries regularly to avoid corrosion. REMOVE the batteries from the tool if it is
•
not going to be used for an extended period.
DO NOT try to take the level apart.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem
The tool cannot be turned
on.
Cause
1. Batteries are depleted.
2. Batteries are installed in
wrong polarity.
Remedy
1. Replace with new batteries.
2. Reinstall the batteries.
