Caution: During the operation, the lamps become very hot.
If there are reasons for supposing that risk-free operation is no longer possible, the lighting chain must be
deactivated and protected against accidental operation. Risk-free operation can no longer be supposed
when the lighting chain
• no longer functions
• is visibly damaged
• has been stored long-term under adverse conditions, or
• has been exposed to stress during transport.
Please consider that damages caused by manual modifications to the device are not subject to warranty.

OPERATING DETERMINATIONS

This device is a lighting chain for creating decorative effects. This product is allowed to be operated with an
direct current or alternating current of 12 V, 50 Hz ~.
The device must only be operated with an appropriate safety transformer.
The lighting chain is protected against splashing water (protection-degree IP23) and can therefore be used
inside and outside.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not permit operation by persons not
qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!

Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!
If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like short-
circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.

INSTALLATION

Unpack the lighting chain and unroll it.
Install the lighting chain at the desired installation-spot.
Connect the connection cable of the lighting net with the transformer. Plug the transformer into your outlet.
Make sure that the outlet is in a dry area.
The lighting chain must never be covered with any object.
Please note that the Deco-Light has to be connected every 200 lamps.
