OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Preparation before use

1.
Clean the hot plate using soft wet cloth. Place the hot plate on an even and stable surface close to the
electric outlet.
2. Check if the voltage marked on the appliance corresponds to the voltage of your outlet. Before plugging
it in, make sure that the thermostat control is in the "MIN" position.
3.
When cooking, always use stainless steel or aluminium pots and pans with fl at bottoms that have close
contact with the cooking plate. Keep the surface of both hot plates clean and dry.
Operation
1.
Put food in the pot (the total amount of water and food in the pot should not exceed 80% of the volume
of the pot, to prevent overfl owing). Cover the pot with a lid and place it on the hot plate.
2. Plug the hot plate in the outlet. Turn the thermostat control from the "MIN" position to maximum. The
control light comes on and the hot plate starts warming up.
3.
There are two points, which you have to remember when using new hot plate:
When using the new hot plate the fi rst time, the surface can emit odor or smoke. This is normal and it
is caused by an invisible layer of protective fi lm applied to the appliance during production.
Before the food starts to boil, the control light on the hot plate can go off temporarily because the
thermostat temporarily switches off . This safety feature is a normal function of the hot plate.
4. After you fi nish cooking, switch the appliance to "MIN" position and unplug it from the power supply.
Wait until the appliance cools off before moving it or cleaning it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1.
Make sure that the power cable is unplugged. Clean the hot plate using gentle detergent or gel cleaner
and soft cloth after it thoroughly cools down.
DO NOT CLEAN THE APPLIANCE WHILE IT IS HOT.
2. DO NOT USE hard brushes, abrasives or alcohol, kerosene or other organic cleaners.
3.
Do not immerse the hot plate in water while cleaning it.
4. Store the hot plate in a cool place after cleaning.
