GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Keep these instructions with the GUARDFIX in case you need
to refer to them again in the future. Failure to follow these
instructions may affect your child's safety.
Your GUARDFIX must be positioned and installed so that,
under normal vehicle usage conditions, no part can become
jammed under or between any moveable part of the seat or
in the vehicle door.
Always replace the GUARDFIX after any accident.
Do not modify or add to your GUARDFIX in any way without
the approval of the manufacturer, as this will affect your war-
ranty.
Shade your GUARDFIX from sunlight to avoid hot componen-
ts causing injury to your child.
Do not leave your child unattended when in the GUARDFIX
and in the vehicle.
Make sure there is no loose luggage or other large objects
that are likely to cause injuries in the event of an accident.
These may cause injury to other occupants. Always secure
loose items.
Do not use the GUARDFIX without the seat cover. Do not re-
place the GUARDFIX cover with any cover other than the one
recommended by the manufacturer, as it directly influences
the safety performance of the car seat.
Ensure that your GUARDFIX is secured at all times while in
the vehicle. Use the vehicles ISOFIX system, even when the
GUARDFIX is not in use. An unsecured GUARDFIX can cau-
se injuries in the event of a collision.
The GUARDFIX may acquire some wear and tear over the
years, this will result in parts requiring replacement, please
contact the retailer or our Customer Services Department for
replacement parts.
Make sure all hard or plastic parts are stored away when not
in use so they cannot be misplaced.
