HOW TO CLEAN

Clean the main unit with a damp cloth. To maintain maximum performance, your steamer must be descaled
occasionally. The descaling intervals will depend on the water quality and the frequency of use. The unit
should be descaled at least once a year or every 100 hours of use.
For descaling, proceed as follows:
1. Unplug the unit and fill it with 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water.
2. Let the appliance run for 3 minutes and do not steam any clothing with this mixture.
3. Switch the appliance off. Unplug it and allow cooling down for at least 30 minutes.
4. Empty the water over the sink. Rinse the appliance with fresh water.
5. Fill the unit with fresh water and repeat steps 2-4.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE
BROWN
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour mar-
kings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW
If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.

4. Ne jamais utiliser un appareil dont le cordon ou la fiche sont endommagés, ou si
l'appareil présente un dysfonctionnement, s'il est tombé ou endommagé d'une manière quelconque.
Renvoyer l'appareil au réparateur agréé le plus près pour le faire examiner, réparer ou régler.
5. Pour limiter le risque de contact avec l'eau brûlante émise par les orifices de sortie de la vapeur, vérifier
l'appareil avant chaque utilisation en le tenant éloigné de soi.
6. L'appareil doit être posé sur le sol pendant le fonctionnement.
7. Utiliser uniquement l'appareil aux fins auxquelles il est destiné. Utiliser uniquement
le défroisseur à vapeur en exerçant un mouvement vertical de haut en bas. Ne jamais
utiliser le défroisseur à vapeur en position horizontale et ne jamais le renverser en arrière
car de l'eau risquerait de s'en échapper.
8. Pour limiter le risque d'électrocution, ne pas immerger l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre
liquide.
9. Ne jamais tirer sur le cordon pour débrancher l'appareil de la prise électrique mais saisir
la fiche à la main et la tirer.
10. Le cordon ne doit pas toucher des angles tranchants ni des surfaces brûlantes. Laisser
l'appareil refroidir complètement avant de le ranger. Enrouler le cordon sans serrer
autour de l'appareil pour le ranger.
