troubleshooting
1) The pump does noT pump waTer or gurgles.
• When using for the first time or after cleaning, wait a few
minutes for any trapped air to be dispersed.
• Make sure that the water reaches the Max level and that
filter cartridge does not need to be renewed.
• The pump needs maintenance, see the chapter on
Maintenance.
• The pump is damaged and needs to be replaced.
2) my caT or dog does noT wanT To drink ouT of The
founTain.
• Although running water attracts most pets, some pets may
need to get used to their new drinking area. It is important
that you encourage your pet to drink out of the fountain.
Remove other drinking areas and disconnect the fountain.
Your pet will get used to your fountain within the next few
days. Reconnect the fountain and observe the drinking
behaviour of your pet for the first few days to make sure it
drinks enough liquid to avoid dehydration.
3) The founTain is noisier Than usual.
• Check if both rubber pieces that keep the electrical cord in
place, are correctly attached.
• Check if the water tower is installed correctly.
• Check if the top part/source is connected correctly to the
tower.
