Note:
In case of failure of the main supply or disconnect the power cord from the
main outlet, both the current time and the timer is cleared immediately. Once
power is restored, the display will show the digits "12:00" so please put back
the clock.

INITIAL CLEANING

Before using the coffee maker for the first time or when not been used for a
long time, we recommend that you run the coffee machine with water only
(without adding coffee) to clean dust or small particles that may have inside .
Proceed as follows:
1. Open lid 2 and fill tank 6 with fresh water (from time) to the maximum level
(12 cups).
2. Place the filter holder 5 in its housing as well as the permanent filter, do not
insert coffee.
3. Close the lid by pressing gently on it until it fits perfectly.
4. Place jar 1 on the hotplate.
5. Press the power button 7 (ON/OFF) once and the power indicator 13
(RUN) will illuminate, warning that the coffee machine is operating.
6. Let all the hot water flow over the jar.
7. Turn off the coffee machine by pressing the power button 7 (ON/OFF)
twice, the power indicator 13 (RUN) will turn off.
8. Wait until the coffee machine and the water in the carafe cool down before
proceeding to dry it. Empty the carafe and dry the main body of the coffee
maker with a soft cloth.
9. Wash the jug, the filter holder and the permanent nylon filter with soapy
water, rinse them thoroughly and then dry them with a clean, dry cloth.
Attention: It is possible that the first time you use the coffee while it is
heated, it produces a slight odor. This is normal and is because the device is
new, it will disappear shortly after use.
PREPARING THE COFEE MAKER
Filling the water tank
Open the lid 2 and pour into the water tank 6 the amount of fresh water
required for the preparation of coffee. Never to exceed the maximum water
level (mark MAX level indicator). The recommended minimum water level must
not be less than equivalent to 4 cups.
Filling coffee
With coffee lid open, place the holder 2 in its housing, place this permanent
filter (pre-washing), or a paper filter No. 4 size.
