2)
Do not install MXPOWER surge protectors near heat-emitting appliances
such as radiators or heat registers.

Do not plug in any kind of extension cord or power bar to your MXPOWER
surge protector, nor should you plug any 2-prong, non-grounded adapters
to your MXPOWER.
4)
Do not use MXPOWER surge protectors with loads rated above the current limit
of the surge protector (15 A, 20 A or 30 A). MXPOWER products are intended
for equipment wired according to applicable electrical code.
CAUTION
Risk of Electric Shock. Do not install MXPOWER surge protectors
if there are not at least 10 meters (30 feet) or more of wire between
the electrical outlet and the electrical service panel.
IMPORTANT
In order to protect your equipment and preserve your product warranty,
MXPOWER surge protectors must be plugged into a properly grounded,
3-wire outlet that conforms to applicable NEC (USA) or CEC (Canada)
codes. If your surge protector indicates that your outlet is not grounded,
do not use the product. Call an electrician to correct the wiring
in the building or outlet. It is not uncommon for a building to be
improperly grounded.
