After the use, before touching the moving parts, make sure the motor and all the moving parts are completely
stopped;

If the power cord happens to be damaged or cut during the operation, do not touch the exposed wires, in this
situation immediately stop the use and unplug the cord from the power outlet with caution;
9.
This tool must not be used for work on wet surfaces;
10.
Do not sand materials that contain asbestos (asbestos is considered carcinogenic);
11.
When sanding metals, because of the sparks produced, keep people and fl ammable materials away from
the workplace;
12.
Do not touch the sandpaper during operation;
13.
Do not use sandpaper sheets that are worn, torn or too dirty; replace the paper in these cases.
Assembly and adjustment services:
1.
Before plugging your tool into the power outlet, check if the local power supply and your tool have the same
voltage. Check if the tool is in good conditions by performing a quick visual inspection. If any abnormality is
found, immediately suspend the use and contact the nearest Schulz authorized dealer for repair;
2.
For assembly and disassembly adjustments, the tool must be always turned off and the power cord must be
unplugged from the power outlet.
Installing the sandpaper (see fi gure 3 to 12)
1.
Release the 2 clamp levers at the base (fi gure 3);
2.
Place the sandpaper on the base, and lock one of the clamp levers (fi gure 5);
3.
Stretch the paper across the base and lock the second clamp lever;
4.
Make sure the sandpaper is fully stretched and that it covers the entire base (fi gure 6);
5.
Due to the dust removal system, the sandpaper must have holes that match the ones of the tool, so that the
dust suction holes don't get blocked (fi gure 9).
