A. Connect the instrument in series with the line linking the extemal
unit (LNB) to the intemal one, or receiver, as drawn. It is
essential the cable joining the antenna (LNB) to the MS-250 to
be short length (not longer than 3 m), in order to take the most
profit from the unit sensitivity.
B.
Tum the MS-250 switch to position CHECK and make sure that
the instrument pointer lies into the green edge of scale, reading
the voltage value given to the LNB.
C.
From the azimuth angles and elevation of the selected satellite,
make a first pointing of the antenna, using a compass and a
goniometer level. Once this operation is done, tum the MS-250
switch to position ON. With the help of the GAIN control and by
moving the antenna slightly, try to pick the maximum signal
sensed, hearing the acoustic indicator.
