7.3.1 Information about installing and putting the LZ 70 P into service
without a motor
•
No cleaning agents may be allowed to enter the bearings.
•
When mounting gear wheels or motor adapters, the drive shaft should not be hit or knocked.
•
Design measures should be taken to prevent potential malfunction of the limit switch: The
relevant stop positions must be set up as required. Particularly in the case of overhead mount-
ing or
if there is tensile load, an external extension safeguard must be provided.
•
Lateral forces must not lead to toppling. No risk must arise from the electric cylinder if the
mains plug is pulled out.
•
The axial push rod safety mechanism 1 must only be removed after the motor is fitted.
•
If the push rod safety mechanism is removed prematurely, the push rod can move in an un-
controlled way.
•
When installing/removing the drive (motor assembly), the push rod must be secured to pre-
vent it moving..
