2. Safety Instructions

Read and observe all of the instruc-
tions below. Failure to observe or
incorrect observance can lead to
malfunctions and severe injury.
2.1. Requirements for per-
sonnel
This dry jet blow gun is intended for
use only by skilled personnel with
appropriate training who have read
and understood these operating
instructions completely. Never use
this dry jet blow gun when tired or
when under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication.

3. Use

Intended use
This dry jet blow gun is used to
accelerate drying of waterborne
paints. One dry jet blow gun is suit-
able for manually drying smaller
areas such as doors or fenders.
The use of several dry jet blow
guns on a stand is recommended

when drying larger surfaces.
Improper use
The use of the dry jet blow gun for
drying solvent-based materials is
considered improper use.

4. Description

This dry jet blow gun is connected
to the compressed air circuit us-
ing a quick connect nipple. A sieve
removes contaminants from the air
drawn in before use. The integrated
air flow regulator and rotating flat
fan nozzle allow you to direct the
inlet air onto the painted surface.
The dry jet blow gun consists of the
following main components:
■ Filter holder [1-1] with sieve [1-2]
■ Handle [1-4] with air flow regula-
tor [1-3]
■ Flat fan nozzle [1-6]

5. Scope of Delivery

Information!
The quick connect nipple is
included with the standard ver-
sion only. For all other versions,
the customer must supply the
quick connect nipple. The SATA
quick connect nipple (Art. No.
6981) is required in order to
connect the dry jet blow gun
to a SATA dry jet 2 stand or
SATA dry jet 2 jumbo stand.
