1 Replacing the drive wheels
Kit:

2 wheels
•
2 self-locking nuts
•
2 washers
•
6 distance washers
•
2 plastic caps
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing to hands and feet by weight of
wheelchair
– Pay attention to hands and feet.
– Use proper lifting techniques.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to uncontrolled movement of
the wheelchair
– Switch the wheelchair's power system off (ON-/OFF
key).
– Engage the drive motors.
– Secure the wheelchair against rolling away by placing
wedges under the wheels.
Tools:
•
19 mm wrench
•
19 mm socket wrench
•
flat screwdriver
•
oblong wooden blocks (approx. 14 x 14 x 30 cm)
Removing the wheel
1. Prop up wheelchair on multiple wooden blocks. Use proper
lifting techniques.
2. Use flat screwdriver to remove plastic cap (5).
3. Loosen and remove nut (4).
4. Remove washer (3).
5. Remove wheel (1) from shaft.

6. Remove remaining washers (2).

8. Repeat steps for other wheel.
Refitting the wheel
Use only the new parts delivered with the kit.
1. Put three distance washers on shaft.
2. When installing the wheel:
•
Pay attention to correct direction of rotation.
•
Make sure to mount flat side of rim to inside.
3. Put washer on shaft.
4. Put nut (4) on shaft and tighten to 35 Nm +/-10% Nm. Make
sure to fit nut correctly.
5. Put plastic cap on nut.
6. Repeat steps for other wheel.
