WARNING:

Thoroughly clean the water tank when not using the appliance for a longer period of time.
Cleaning the cooling/humidifying system
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2. Remove the intake filter from the back of the device (see figure 6).
3. Unscrew the screw at the top of the cooling/humidification system (see figure 7).
4. Remove the cooling/humidifying system from the device.
5. Bend the fastening points of the white cooling/humidifying curtain slightly outwards to remove the curtain
from the cooling/humidifying system (see figure 8).
6. Clean the cooling/humidifying curtain and the other parts under running water.
7. Thoroughly dry all parts before reassembling and reinserting them into the appliance.
8. Reassemble the cooling/humidification system and insert it back into the appliance.
WARNING:
•
Verify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply before you clean it.
•
Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to
clean the appliance.
•
Thoroughly clean the cooling/humidifying system when not using the appliance for a longer period of
time.
Cleaning or replacing the intake filter
Clean or replace the intake filter at least twice a year, and more frequently if the filter is visibly blocked.
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2. Remove the intake filter from the back of the appliance (see figure 6).
3. Remove the filter from the filter frame.
4. Dispose of the filter, or wash it in lukewarm water. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
5. Return the cleaned or new filter and reinstall the intake filter into the appliance.
WARNING:
•
Water could penetrate into the appliance if the filter is not thoroughly dry. This could result in
(electrical) damage.
