Roborover has several different function modes and games .
Explore Mode
In Explore Mode, Roborover can explore around his environment without your
commands; he can detect and avoid obstacles as he goes, and make comments .
To enter Explore Mode, press the Explore button on the remote controller . After approximately
3 minutes, he will exit Explore Mode and enter Standby Mode (refer to page 12 for
details) . To exit Explore Mode before this, press the Stop button on the remote controller .
Lookout Mode
In Lookout Mode, Roborover will scan his immediate environment in front of and behind
him . He can then sound an alarm if he detects movement or a change to the environment .
NOTE: You cannot give Roborover drive commands while he is in Lookout Mode .
To activate Lookout Mode, do the following:
1 .
Press the
Lookout button on the remote controller . Roborover will make a comment .
2 .
Press the
Lookout button again .
3 .
When he first enters
immediate environment in front of, and behind him . This is approximately
1 .2-1 .8 m depending on the environment . If there are objects nearby he will
perform a short range scan, this is approximately 30 cm .
4 .
When Roborover detects any movements or new objects, he will sound an alarm .
5 .
If Roborover detects something, he will remain in
detect anything for about 10 minutes he will exit Lookout Mode and wait for
a command . If you do not enter a command within 2 minutes, he will enter
Standby Mode (refer to page 12 for details) . To exit Lookout Mode before the
10 minutes is over, press the Stop button on the remote controller . When he
exits Lookout Mode, he will tell you if he saw anything .
Lookout Mode he will perform a long range scan of his
