ADDING PAPER
Insert the paper into the paper feed B . The machine
automatically starts the shredding process with a delay
of 8-10 seconds. 2-3 sheets are fed at a time. You may
insert up to 80 sheets into the paper feed B.

Clearing jams

●
If the paper feed B does not feed paper added to it,
remove the paper. Remove any paper clips, staples
or crumpled up paper (also see Fig. C). Then add the
paper again and set the switch D to position "AUTO".

In the event of a jam, slide the AUTO / OFF / REVERSE
switch D to the "REVERSE" position (reverse). Then
set the AUTO / OFF / REVERSE switch D to the
"AUTO" position (forward). This will clear the jam.
●
When necessary, you can alternatively open the paper
guide by turning the mechanism K and remove
jammed paper.
Preventing jams and overloading
The paper shredder features a motor overload protection.
A cycle corresponds to about 4-5 minutes in manual
mode and 10-12 minutes in auto mode.
The device will automatically switch off when:
●
Exceeding the maximum capacity of 7 sheets (in the
cutting opening C ) or 80 sheets of paper (in the
paper feed B ) or not inserting the paper centred in
the cutting opening. The Power / Overload F light will
light up red.
●
Continuously using the device for more than 4-5
minutes at maximum capacity (10-12 minutes in auto
mode). The Bin Full / Overheat G light will light up
red.
●
The waste bin is full. The Bin Full / Overheat light G
will light up blue.
Follow these steps if the device shuts off automatically
due to overloading or over heating:

Set the AUTO / OFF / REVERSE switch D to the "OFF"
position.
●
Allow the device to cool down.
●
Set the AUTO / OFF / REVERSE switch D to the
"REVERSE" position.
●
Clear paper debris from the paper feed. Be careful not
to put your fingers in the paper feed.
●
Set the AUTO / OFF / REVERSE switch E to the
"AUTO" position. The device is now ready for use
again.

CLEANING AND CARE

Empty the paper bin if H the Bin Full 8 light G

lights up blue. To do so, lift the paper shredder off the
wastepaper bas ket E by the handle H (see Fig. B).

Occasionally insert some lubricating paper into the
blade opening C and allow the device to run in FWD
mode for about 10 seconds. Use PEACH lubricating
paper PS100-00 or Peach paper shredder oil PS100-
05.
