3 Applications
With the video switch box SCD-40 up to three audio/video
sources (e. g. video recorder, camcorder, satellite receiver, etc.)
can be switched to a TV set or a monitor. Independent of this,
dubbing between two connected units is possible at the same
time. For the connection of the audio/video sources the video
switch box is equipped with three scart jacks 1-3. The scart
jack 3 is fully equipped and thus also suitable for the connection
of units operating with the red, green, and blue signal transmis-
sion (e. g. computers, S-VHS units). The switch box can be
connected via two phono audio outputs to a HiFi system.
4 Connection of the Units to the
Video Switch Box
Only connect the units to the video switch box if they are
switched off.
1) Connect the TV set resp. the monitor to the scart output
jack (4).
2) Connect the respective audio/video source (e. g. video re-
corder, camcorder, satellite receiver) to the corresponding
scart jack (1), (2) or (3). Max. three units can be connect-
ed. Units operating with the red, green, and blue signal
transmission (e. g. computers, S-VHS units) can only be
connected to the scart jack 3.
With recording mode the recording video recorder must be
connected to the scart jack 1.
3) For sound reproduction via a HiFi system, connect the HiFi
system to the two phono audio outputs (5).
