6 Slide the spacer sleeve to the harness

7 Loosen the screws on the front handle and
slide it onto the drive tube (7)

8 Push and rotate the internal drive shaft until
it seats into the powerhead (8)

9 Remove the attachment locking screw on
top of the edger attachment (9)

Unpacking and Assembly
10 Loosen the clamp screw on the edger
attachment Push and rotate the edger
attachment until it couples with the drive
shaft (10)
11 Rotate to locate and align to the hole in the
drive tube Insert the attachment locking
screw/washer and tighten to 60 inch-
pounds
WARNING:
locking screw must be in place and tightened
properly.
12 Tighten attachment clamp screw to 60
inch-pounds (11)
13 Align and adjust the front handle for a
comfortable working position and tighten
the clamp screw to 50 inch-pounds (12)
Reposition as needed
WARNING:
ensure guard is present and secured. Replace
guard if it exhibits alteration or damage.
