2 Safety Notes
The units (charging station and power supply unit)
correspond to all required directives of the EU and
are therefore marked with
WARNING
The power supply unit uses danger-
ous mains voltage. Leave servicing
to skilled personnel only. Inexpert
handling may result in electric shock.
Please observe the following items in any case:
G
Only use this charging station for rechargeable
NiMH batteries. If you try to charge non-
rechargeable batteries, they may leak or even
explode!
G
Only insert rechargeable batteries of the same
type into the microphone and always replace the
batteries in pairs.
G
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
G
Do not operate the charging station or immedi-
ately disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains socket
1. if the charging station or the power supply unit
is visibly damaged,

3 Applications
This intelligent quick charging station IRS-200PS is
suitable for charging the NiMH batteries of the
hand-held microphones IRS-200HT, IRS-202HT
and ATS-12HT. The batteries of up to two micro-
phones may be charged at the same time.
The charging station features a most conven-
ient handling: To charge the batteries, it is not nec-
essary to remove the batteries from the micro-
phone; simply insert the microphone with its
batteries into the charging compartment.
4 Operation
1) Connect the power supply unit provided to the
power supply jack (1) of the charging station
and to a mains socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz). Once the
charging station has been connected to the
power supply, it is switched on.
Note: For power supply of the charging sta-
tion, the jack CHARGE OUTPUT of the ampli-
fier IRS-200AMP can be used instead of the
power supply unit provided, see manual of
the amplifier.
2) After switching on, the charging station per-
forms a short self-test: Both charge LEDs (4)
show green, then red, then they are extin-
guished one after the other. At the end of the
self-test, both LEDs briefly show red again; the
charging station is now ready for operation.
3) Insert the microphones (IRS-2..HT or ATS-12HT)
with their batteries into the charging compart-
ments (2) in such a way that their charging con-
tacts (5) are placed on the contacts (3) of the
compartment. Microphones switched on before
