GENERAL FEATURES
Daily maintenance
The product is exposed to external agents; therefore, it is necessary to clean it
regularly.
Remove spots immediately.
Clean the product with a damp cloth, soaked with lukewarm water and soap (or hot
water for the worst encrustations), or using a specific or suitable detergent.
Rinse it abundantly.
Finish the cleaning process with a dry and clean cloth.
For the avoidance of doubt, contact the retailer.
The product will degrade, if it is not cleaned regularly.
It is normal that the product wears down over time and due to the usage, for example
colour or surface changes, loosening of screws or change of mechanical functions.
Weather conditions (wind, rain, snow, hail, sea wind)
The outdoor furniture is designed to be exposed to normal weather conditions. Strong
bad weather and unusual meteorological conditions may have an impact on the aspect,
usage or duration of the product. It is recommended to use a waterproof cloth with a
ventilation system during the winter, while the furniture stays outside.
Rain and humidity
If left under the rain, the table needs several days to dry. Nothing unusual, but it is
important to provide for drying it, to avoid the stagnation of water. The prolonged
presence of humidity accelerates the degradation of the product and facilitates the
appearance of rust and mould.
Temperature conditions
The outdoor furniture is not meant to be submitted to low temperatures, especially
to winter temperatures, that may alter the correct functioning of the product and its
surface. Likewise, the product is sensitive to humidity. It is recommended to store it
in a dry, close and aired place. It is not necessary to cover it with a cloth. Before the
storage, it is better to clean and dry it carefully, to prevent unpleasant smells and the
appearance of mould.
If you do not have at your disposal a dry, aired and close place, it will be necessary to
cover the furniture with a protective cloth equipped with a ventilation system, essential
to reduce the impact of the external agents (damages due to trees, animals, pollution,
etc.) on the duration of the product. If the pavement is damp, it is recommended to
introduce a wedge between the pavement and the table legs, to avoid the transmission
of humidity. If left outside during the winter, slightly tilt the table, to avoid the
accumulation of water and dry leaves on the cloth. If not used for a long time and if the
suggestions regarding the storage are not followed, the degradation process of the
surface and of the functioning may be accelerated.
