Connecting Cables
Attention
• When replacing the current monitor with an P1700 monitor, be sure to change the PC settings for
resolution and vertical frequency to those which are available for the P1700 monitor referring to the
resolution table (back of cover page) before connecting the PC.

Check that the monitor and the PC are powered off.

Connect the monitor to the PC with a signal cable that matches the connectors.
After connecting the cable connectors, tighten the screws of the connectors to secure the coupling.

Plug the power cord into a power outlet and the Power connector on the monitor.
NOTE
• Adjust the screen tilt to the best condition for working.
Displaying Screen

Press
to turn on the monitor.

The monitor's Power indicator lights up green and the screen image appears.

When the monitor and the PC are turned on for the fi rst time, the Auto
Adjustment function operates and adjusts clock, phase and screen position.
The screen vibrates slightly about 5 seconds during the Auto adjustment, but it will return to normal after
adjustment.
