TOASTING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Before toasting, make sure both crumb trays are locked into position on the
bottom front of the Toaster. Both left and right toasting levers should be in the
UP position.
2.
Plug Toaster into a 120V 3-prong electrical outlet.
3.
Insert bread or toaster food into 1 to 4 of the toasting slot(s). Lower the
corresponding left or right toasting lever(s) until locked into place.
4.
When toasting a single slice, bread may be placed in any toasting slot. Adjust the
corresponding browning control to the desired setting between 1 and 6.
5.
At the end of the toasting cycle, bread or toaster food will rise automatically.
Use the high lift lever to remove smaller toaster foods or breads such as English
muffins.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage the heating element or cause injury, never use a
fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast.
6.
To interrupt toasting, manually raise the corresponding left and/or right toasting
lever(s).
REMOVING LODGED FOODS
1.
If, after toasting, a piece of bread or any other toaster food becomes lodged in
any of the toasting slots, unplug the Toaster and allow it to cool.
2.
Hold the corresponding left or right toasting lever down. Turn the Toaster upside
down and shake the food loose.
IMPORTANT: Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast, because
that may damage the heating element or cause injury.
3.
Clean either or both crumb trays and replace.
