INTRODUCTION
Your Vicair Liberty TC is designed to be used as described in this manual. Please read
®
the whole manual before use.
The cushion consists of the following parts:
Cushion
The inner cushion is made of a special made polyvinyl bag, filled with a specific
number of triangular, air filled SmartCells™ and a small amount of lubricant. The
Liberty TC has two compartments each with a valve on rear end.
Straps
With this cushion you will find four straps. You can use two straps to attach the
cushion onto the toiletseat and two straps as reserve.
ASSEMBLY
Checking the cushion size
Together with your therapist or dealer, make sure the cushion fits the dimensions of
your body and of your toiletseat.
Fitting the cushion on the toiletseat
• Remove the clear plastic wrapping.
• Place the cushion onto the toiletseat. The instruction pictograms on the cushion
must face down. The valve must be on the rear end (fig. A).
• Install both straps on the left and the right of the toiletseat (fig. B, C).
USE
Use at high altitude
Because each SmartCell™ is filled with air, the cushion may become firmer and behave
differently when used at high altitude or in an aeroplane. Vicair recommends not to
use the cushion above 2400 m (8000 ft) ASL (above sea level).
Transferring the cushion to another user
Before allowing a second person to use the cushion, clean the cushion.
Flammability
Do not use or leave the cushion close to a naked flame or a high temperature heat
source.
