Manual release
Details on how to use the manual release:
The motor is equipped with an unlocking handle which allows manual operation of the
door in case of power failure.
It must be easily accessible, less than 1.80m from the ground: add a cord to the release
handle to facilitate its use.
This handle should only be used to unlock the door. Do not use it to open or close the
door manually.
During the unlocking of the door:
- an unbalanced door may result in sudden movements of the door. This can be
very dangerous. Handle your door with carefully.
In the process of unblocking there can be uncontrolled movement of the door:
- If the door spring are loose or broken;
- If the doors are not balanced;
- If the door is opened manually the carriage can collide with the operator (during
building works usually may limit the doors run in the opening direction);
- In the unblocked position doors can be moved only with medium speed!
