ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec)
Es un códec para el método de compresión de audio sin pérdida
desarrollado por Apple Inc. Este códec se puede reproducir en iTunes,
iPod o iPhone. Los datos comprimidos a aproximadamente el 60 – 70% se
pueden descomprimir exactamente a los mismos datos originales.
AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format)
Este es un formato sin compresión ni pérdidas para el audio digital. Use
archivos AIFF para quemar CD de audio de alta calidad desde canciones
importadas. Los archivos AIFF usan aproximadamente 10 MB de espacio
del disco por minuto.

FLAC
FLAC significa en inglés Free lossless Audio Codec (Códec libre de
compresión de audio sin pérdida) y es un formato de archivo libre de
audio sin pérdida. Sin pérdida quiere decir que el audio se comprime sin
ninguna pérdida de calidad.
