Preparation
1. Make sure your hair is clean, dry and free of styling products
(except special products that promote hair straightening).
2. Thoroughly comb your hair so that there are no knots in it.
3. Separate your hair into horizontal sections. Each section should
be around the width and thickness of a heating plate
4. Pin or clip the sections you are not working on out of the way.
2.2.2
Setting up the product
1. Connect the plug of the power cord
outlet.
2. Press and hold the standby button ( )

The product heats up to the default operating temperature
(120 °C/240 °F). The change in temperature shows in the
temperature indicator
3. If necessary, press both temperature buttons (+/–)
same time to change the temperature unit (°C/°F).

4. Press the temperature buttons (+/–) to select another operating
temperature between 120 and 230 °C (240 and 450 °F)
(12 settings).
The product heats up or cools down to the selected operating
temperature. The change in temperature shows in the
temperature indicator.
See below for recommended settings. If in doubt, start with a
lower temperature and increase the temperature as necessary.
Temperature
120–150 °C/240–300 °F
150–190 °C/300–370 °F
190–230 °C/370–450 °F
5. Wait until the selected operating temperature stays lit in the
temperature indicator.
This indicates that the product has reached the required
operating temperature and is ready for use.
6. If necessary, press the standby button ( ) twice consecutively
to lock the temperature buttons (+/–).
This prevents accidental change of operating temperature
during use.
