Always ensure the rear handle is securely

The vertical angle of the rear handle can be
adjusted in 3 positions.
1.
Press the unlock button
position.
2.
Adjust the rear handle
position until the unlock button
position (see Fig. D).
NOTE
The product cannot be switched on if the

unlock button is not properly engaged in
place.

Ensure the cutting device (blade)

from the cutting device (blade)

NOTE
Try to keep the cutting device

approximately 15° to the cutting surface.
When shaping it is advisable to achieve a
u
trapezoidal shape (see Fig. F).
A trapezoidal cut corresponds to the natural
growth of plants and results in optimal hedge
growth, as it will expose more light to the
lower end of the hedge.
1.
Cut and remove branches exceeding the
cutting capacity of this product using a proper
pruner before operation.
2.
Always hold the product firmly with both
hands on front handle

. Never operate this product using

only one hand.
3.
Do not rush and do not attempt to cut too
much with one stroke of the cutting device
4.
First cut both sides from the bottom cutting
upwards to the top. Depending on the type
and direction of the hedge, it shall also be cut
from top to bottom or from right to left.
(see Fig. G).
5.
After cutting the sides proceed to the top.
Try to keep the cutting device
approximately 15° to the cutting surface
(see Fig. H).
6.
When cutting wide hedges with the cutting
area in sight move the cutting device
lightly through the cutting surface in a
sweeping motion following the shape of
the hedge or shrub. A slight tilt downwards
of the cutting device
motion is recommended for optimum cutting
performance.
