1. Please read these instructions carefully
and keep them in a safe place.
2. This appliance is not designed to be used
by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lacking in experience and/or knowledge.
This is unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety, or they
are instructed by such a person on how to
use the appliance.
3. Children should be supervised in order to
ensure they don't play with the appliance.
4. Connect the appliance to alternating
current only, in accordance with the rating
plate.
5. Appliances are not intended to be oper-
ated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
6. To avoid electrocution, don't immerse the
appliance, power cord or plug in water or
any other liquid.
7. Don't touch any hot surfaces. Use the
handles if necessary use a pot holder.
8. Don't use the water container for cooking
in an oven or on a stove.

Important Safeguards

9. Always unplug the appliance if not in
use and before cleaning. The appliance
should have cooled down completely
before dismantling. To operate the steam
cooker, the heating and control element
has to be inserted correctly and it has to
be plugged in.
10. Only use accessories recommended by
the manufacturer. Using accessories that
have not been recommended may be
hazardous to the user and will result in the
exclusion of warranty.
11. The appliance is designed for indoor use
only.
12. Never pull on the power cord. The power
cord must not hang off the edge of the
work surface. Wind the power cord around
the appliance, and make sure there are no
kinks in the power cord.
13. Don't place the appliance near or on hot
surfaces.
14. The turn-switch has to be in the OFF-
position before plugging in resp. un-
plugging the appliance.
15. Do not operate the appliance in dry
conditon. The water must always reach at
least the MIN marking.
