You can alter the short rewind time with the "BACK-
SPACE" rotary adjuster in the base of the machine. In the

the slide-switch is held in the »
If the end of a letter is marked you will hear a short
beep and the tape will stop briefly.
Keep the slide-switch if you wish to continue.
Move the slide-switch to »
in forward direction. If an end mark is recorded, a brief
signal sounds and the tape stops briefly.
