TEXT MARKS
End-of-letter mark
The end of a letter can be marked with an
either during recording or when recording has been
paused.
The end-of-letter marks will be recognized by all Grundig dictation
machines with a search function. See chapter "Search Function".
Index mark

– When releasing the button, an end-of-letter mark will
be recorded.
– The letter number in the display is increased by 1.
Parts of the tape that have to be corrected can be
marked with an
index mark
or stop.

The text passages that are to be inserted can be
recorded at the end of the dictation; or on another
steno-cassette (used as a correction tape).
Note:
Let the person who will do your typing know what to do
when an index mark is heard on the tape.
Examples: – insert correction tape
– read enclosed index note
– call back for consultation.
