3.3 Drill the hole in the wall with a 70 mm core bit and at a small oblique angle lower
than the inner end by 5 mm to 10 mm.
3.4 Fit the wall sleeve and the wall sleeve cover (both parts are optional) to protect the
connecting parts.
WARNING:
When drilling the hole in the wall, be sure to avoid cables, pipes and other sensitive
components.

Step 4. Connect the coolant pipe
4.1 According to the position of the hole in the wall, select the appropriate pipe outlet
mode.
There are three optional tube modes for indoor units, as shown in the figure below:
In tube outlet mode 1 or tube outlet mode 3, a notch must be made using scissors to
cut the plastic sheet of the tube outlet and the cable outlet on the corresponding side
of the indoor unit. Fig. 7
NOTE:
When cutting the plastic sheeting at the outlet, the cut should be trimmed so that it
is smooth.
4.2 Bend the connecting tubes with the port facing upwards as shown in the figure.

4.3 Remove the plastic cover on the tube ports and remove the protective cover on
the end of the tube connectors.
4.4 Check if there is any foreign material in the port of the connection pipe and make
sure that the port is clean.
4.5 After aligning the centre, turn the nut on the connecting pipe to tighten the nut
as tight as possible by hand.
4.6 Use a torque spanner to tighten in accordance with the values in the torque
requirements table; (refer to the torque requirements table in the INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS section).
4.7 Wrap the joint with the insulating tube. Fig. 9
