Notes:
• A special screw must be used as earthing screw (stainless
machining screws or M4 copper screws).
• Ensure that all wires are securely connected, so they will not get
loose or separate.
• Ensure that wire connections are carried out according to the
wiring diagram of the air conditioner.
• The above figures are for reference only, and they may be
slightly different from the actual appliances you select.
TUBE STRAPPING
• Strapping the tubes with PVC protective tape must be done care-
fully, ensuring that the pipeline and drain pipe are not damaged.
• Strapping should start from the lower part of the outdoor unit
towards the indoor unit.
• Fix the PVC tape with adhesive tape to prevent it from getting
loose.
• The drain pipe should slightly slide down outwards to ensure a
proper drainage.
• When the indoor unit is lower than the outdoor unit, bend the tube
to a proper extent in order to prevent water from draining into the
house.
• Attach the tube bundle with tube clamps to the wall.
• Allow enough space between the drain pipe and the ground. Do not
put the drain pipe in water or a ditch.
• Seal the external wall holes with sealing gum or putty.
EXHAUST
• Make sure that all tubes of the indoor and outdoor units are
properly connecting.
• Take off the valve bonnet from two-way and three-way valves with
a spanner; Connect the vacuum pump and compound valve to the
service valve bonnet.
• Open the low-pressure switch of the compound valve, and run the
vacuum pump until the units' internal pressure reaches 10 mmHg.
• After pump vacuum, close the low-pressure switch of the com-
pound valve, and then close the vacuum pump. Turn the 90 Spool
on the narrow pipe service valve anticlockwise with a hexagon
spanner, and then tightly turn it clockwise after stopping for 10
seconds.

• Check all connections of the indoor and outdoor units for leakage
with soap water or a leak detector. Open wide and narrow pipe
service valves with a hexagon spanner for running.
• Take off the connection pipeline of the wide pipe service valve.
• Tightly screw the entire valve bonnet with a torque wrench.
• Check all connections of the indoor and outdoor units for leakage
with soap water or a leak detector.
• Reinstall the valve bonnet and lid.

GAS LEAKAGE INSPECTION
Once the pipeline connection is done, use a leakage inspection
device or soap to carefully check if there is any leakage at the
joints. This is an important step to ensure the installation quality.
If refrigerant is leaking, ventilate the area immediately. Toxic gas
may be produced if refrigerant gas comes into contact with fire.
Never directly touch any accidentally leaking refrigerant, as this
could result in severe wounds caused by frostbite.
DRAINAGE
• When drainage treatment is not needed
In regions where it gets cold in winter, do not install the drain
elbow joint to avoid drain water from freezing and damaging the
fan. This drainage treatment is not necessary for cooling-only
type air conditioner.
• When drainage treatment is needed
Please use the drain elbow joint (in accessory bag). The outdoor
unit should be placed on blocks.
