Assembly — Attaching the Fan Blades

Attaching the blades to the blade
arms
NOTE: Additional blade tips (BB) in different color are included.
Replace blade tips according to your preference before installing.
Attach the blades (H) to the blade arms (I and J) using the blade
support plate with screws and lock washers (G). Start a screw
with lock washer (UU) into the blade arm (I and J), but do not
tighten.
Repeat for the three remaining blade attachment screws with
lock washers (UU).
Tighten each screw securely starting with the center screw.
Make sure the blade (H) is straight.
Repeat these steps for the remaining blades (H).

Fastening the blade assemblies
to the motor
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend
the blade arms while installing, balancing the blades (H), or
cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign objects between rotating
fan blades (H).
NOTE: Two types of blade arms included must be mounted
with corresponding slots on the motor.
• Blade arm A (I) with RED DOT label
• Blade arm B (J)
Slot (YY)
Fasten the blade assemblies to the fan motor assembly (F)
by lining up the slot (VV) of the motor with RED DOT label
and the tab (WW) on the blade arms A (I) with RED DOT label.
Tighten the two blade arm screws with lock washers (XX)
already installed in the blade arms A (I).
Repeat this procedure for the remaining blade arms A (I).
