Instructions to Assemble the Protection Device
Before switching on and using the hedge
trimmer, install the protection device as
described below:

Place the protection device (1) in the
front part of the equipment.
✔
Fix it by using the two screws (2)
supplied as shown in the picture.
Attention!
Never use the hedge trimmer
without the protection device.
Attention!
Any and every maintenance or
cleaning shall be carried out with the
equipment switched off and unplugged.
✔
Tighten all nuts and screws to make sure
the hedge trimmer is in usage conditions.
✔
For safety reasons, substitute the parts
that are damaged or have worn out.
✔
Check and control the status of the
power supply cord; never mend the cord
with insulation tape.

Carefully remove debris buildup at air
inlets and cutting blades.
✔
Never use a water jet to clean the hedge
trimmer; clean it with a sponge or cloth
soaked in neutral detergent.
✔
For easier operation and longer life,
lubricate the blades before each use.
✔
Make sure the blade protector is in place
before transportation or storage.
✔
If blades wear out or get damaged, take
your hedge trimmer to the nearest TRAPP
technical assistance shop for
maintenance.
