Congratulations!
You have just acquired a quality product developed with TRAPP's state-of-the-art
technology. This product was designed to work quickly and efficiently, providing total
safety at low cost. Some care is therefore necessary. The important safety measures
stated in this manual do not cover all possible situations that may occur during usage.
The operator shall understand that common sense, attention and care are factors that can
not be incorporated to the product, but that have to be supplied by the people that
handle the product and that maintain it.

Important Recommendations

When using the hedge trimmer always
follow basic safety instructions to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock and accidents,
including the ones described below:
Before turning the hedge trimmer on -
Make sure the voltage of the power
source (110/127V or 220/230V) is the
same of the equipment.
Never use the hedge trimmer without
the protection device.
Avoid dangerous environments - Do not
use the hedge trimmer in either humid or
wet places.
Never use the hedge trimmer in the rain.
Keep children away - People, especially
children, must be at a safe distance from
the working area. The operator or user is
responsible for accidents or risks to other
people in his property.
Dress properly - Do not wear loose
clothes or jewelry as they may be caught
by the movable parts of the equipment.
It is recommended to wear gloves and
shoes when working outdoors.
Wear safety goggles.
Use the equipment properly - Do not
use the hedge trimmer for tasks other
than intended. Only use it as described
in these instructions and for the functions
specified.
Note:
Differential-residual current
protection device - As a safety
measure, we recommend the use of a
differential-residual current protection
device (DR device) less or equal to 30
MA (standard NBR 5410) in your
electrical installation. (Consult an
electrician).
Be ware of extension cord - Always keep
the extension cord away from the cutting
area and obstacles. Keep it away from
heat, oil and sharp edges. Frequently
inspect the extension cord; do not use
insulation tape to mend it.
Do not force the hedge trimmer - The
equipment will work better and safer
when used under the conditions
specified.
Unplug the hedge trimmer - Whenever
the hedge trimmer is not being used or
when making adjustments.
