PROBLEM
The nozzle drips when the
shut-off lever is released.
The nozzle tip leaks.
The spray pattern is poor.
The unit shuts off abruptly.
The battery pack does not
charge.
Battery will not charge.

CAUSE
There is dirt or debris in the shut-off
lever.
There is a damaged O-ring or seal in
the shut-off assembly.
The flat seal is missing.
The flat seal is damaged.
The nozzle is partially clogged.
The nozzle is damaged.
The battery pack has reached its
maximum thermal limit.
The battery is out of charge. To
maximize the life of the battery, it is
designed to shutoff abruptly when
the charge is depleted.
The battery pack is not inserted in
the charger.
The charger is not plugged in.
The surrounding air temperature is
too hot or too cold.
No lights illuminated on charger (not
plugged into outlet).
No lights illuminated on charger
(plugged into outlet).
No lights illuminated on charger
(plugged into outlet, the outlet is
functioning).
No lights illuminated on charger
(plugged into outlet, the outlet is
functioning, new/functioning battery
inserted in the charger).
Green light blinking on charger, but a
red indicator light is also illuminated
(battery temperature too high for
safe charging).
SOLUTION
Clean the shut-off assembly.
Replace the shut-off assembly.
Install the flat seal behind the nozzle
tip. See Assembly.
Replace the flat seal.
Clean the nozzle. See Cleaning.
Replace the nozzle.
Allow the battery pack to cool down.
Place the battery on the charger and
allow it to charge.
Insert the battery pack into the
charger until the red (charging) light
illuminates.
Plug the charger into a working
outlet.
Move the battery pack to a
surrounding air temperature of above
40° F (4.5° C) or below 104° F (40° C).
Plug charger into outlet.
Check that outlet is functioning.
Replace charger.
Replace battery.
Allow battery to cool.
