• The manual must be kept safely in a known place, protected from dust and humidity, always
available for reference by operators.
• Please read it carefully and give it to all operators. You are required to read it in its entirety
before proceeding with the installation, operation or maintenance or disassembly of the quiver
and/or equipment.
• Make sure the operator understands how to use the quiver and safety symbols on the quiver.
• Make sure all the warning signs and plates are neither damaged nor removed from the quiver.
• All instructions must be complied with to avoid accidents.
• Before connecting the quiver, make sure the data on the nameplate match the values of the
mains supply.
• Do not expose the quiver to bad weather, nor install it in high humidity environments like
bathrooms, etc.
• In an emergency, like the start of a fire, abnormal noise, overheating, etc., immediately
disconnect the electrical connection.
2. SPECIFICATIONS
2.1. General specifications
Portable quivers keep electrodes in a dry environment in the welding station to avoid hydrogen
inclusion in the weld. Portable quivers have a lifting handle to carry them. The quivers come with a
basket to easily take out the electrodes.

2.2. General description of the quiver
The quiver has an external structure made of stainless steel to withstand harsh operating conditions:
humidity, corrosion and saline atmospheres.
The sheath between the two structures keeps a uniform temperature inside the quiver.
The heating element is attached to the bottom of the quiver chamber, directly in contact with the
electrodes, thereby ensuring highly efficient thermal conductivity.
The WELDRY 372N - STAINLESS STEEL quiver has a 2 m power cable.
3. QUIVER ASSEMBLY
Put a socket (not supplied) on the connection cable according to the kind of power supply reported
on the nameplate applied on the quiver. Make sure the connection is made in compliance with the
local safety standard; also provide for an automatic switch in accordance with CEI 60947-2.
The quiver is now ready to be used.
4. QUIVER OPERATION
Caution: check the quiver's door. Always use the handle at the top to remove the
basket.
