Possible Cause
The appliance has no power supply.
The appliance is not switched on. Only
the
button is visible in the control
panel.
You have not started the cooking
process.
One or both deep-frying containers are
not inserted correctly. Safety switches
prevent operation with deep-frying con-
tainers that are not inserted correctly.
The deep-frying container is overfilled.
The temperature is set too low.
The cooking time is set too short.
The food is on top of each other. This
does not ensure sufficient air circulation.
You have used food that is only suitable
for a conventional deep fryer.
You are preparing very fatty food.
The deep-frying container is overfilled.
The food is touching the heating element.
There is still food / fat residue in the
deep-frying container or on the heating
element from previous use.
Remedy
Check the power socket with another appliance.
Insert the mains plug correctly.
Check the house fuse.
Press the
button to switch on the appliance.
The buttons for activating the control panels
appear (
/
).
Press the
button to start the cooking process.
Insert the deep-frying containers correctly. They
must audibly click into place.
Reduce the amount of food. Smaller quantities
cook more evenly.
Set a higher temperature.
Set a longer cooking time.
Shake the food halfway through the cooking time.
Use foods suitable for the oven or spread them
with a little oil.
Smoke may develop due to splashes of fat inside
the appliance. Make sure there is sufficient
ventilation.
Reduce the amount of food.
Clean the appliance after each use as described
in the chapter "Cleaning".
