9. ENVIRONMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS AND DISPOSAL INFORMATION
Do not dispose of electrical appliances via the household waste.
Dispose of the charger, incl. accessories and packaging, in an environmentally
friendly manner. Do not throw the vehicle battery charger into the household
waste, fire or water. Chargers that are no longer functional should be recycled if
possible. Ask your local dealer for assistance.
Dispose of batteries at collection points provided for this. As an end consumer,
you are obliged by law to do this (German Battery Ordinance). Batteries contain-
ing pollutants are marked with symbols that advise you of the prohibition on
disposing of batteries via the household waste. The names of the crucial heavy
metal are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
Transport consumed batteries to a disposal facility in your town or municipality or
back to the dealer. By doing so, you are fulfilling your legal obligations and making
an important contribution to the protection of the environment.
