Important
The type of oil to be used is a SAE 13 hydraulic oil.
No other fluids than top quality hydraulic oil may be used.
Unsuitable fluids can severely damage the inside parts of the jack.
Filling with oil
Press the piston fully down. Remove the rubber stopper (2) for the oil level check and fill oil into the
opening until the lower edge of the oil level check is reached.
Changing the oil
We recommend carrying out the maintenance work on a surface impermeable to oil. You should make
sure that no oil is spilt. If some oil is nevertheless accidentally spilt, this is to be cleaned up immediately
and disposed of safely in the facilities provided for this.
It is recommended to change the oil once a year to achieve maximum life of your device. To drain the
oil, please remove the rubber stopper (2) from the oil vessel, lay the jack on its side and let the oil
drain into a drip pan.
Dirt or foreign objects may not be allowed to get into the hydraulic system.
Lubrication
Lubricate all the turning parts every 3 months with a suitable lubricant oil.
Preventing rust; Check the pressure piston every 3 months for signs of rusting or corrosion. Clean and
wipe off with an oil rag as required. The saddle and pressure piston should be fully down when out of
operation.
Rules for maintenance and repair
When you refill the hydraulic system, the properties of the hydraulic fluid used in the jack and the
filling level of the hydraulic fluid specified by the manufacturer must always be observed and complied
with.
You should check the condition of the markings regularly and ensure that the markings match the
original ones.
The jack should be maintained and repaired according to the manufacturer's instructions. Such
maintenance and repairs should only be carried out by qualified experts.
If a moving part is deformed or oil is leaking, contact Service.
Conversions or modifications which negatively influence conformity of the jack with the EN 1494:2000
+ A1:2008 standard must not be made.
