OPERATING THE SHEAR/SHRUBBER
Depending on the application, stand or kneel in a stable position next to the cutting area.
Inspect and clear the area of any hidden objects.
Grasp the handle firmly and start the shear/shrubber.
Using a slow, sweeping action begin cutting from side to side.
If the blade hits a hard object, stop the motor, allow the blades to stop, and remove the
battery pack. Inspect the blade for damage. Do not use if any damage is detected.
Trimming Hedges (Fig . 6)
a. Trim the sides of the hedge first (from the bottom upwards), then cut the top.
b. Trim the side of a hedge in such a way that it will be slightly narrower at the top.
c. Use a hand saw or pruning shears to cut thicker branches.

Trimming Grass and Shrubs (Fig . 7)
When cutting long grass, work in stages from the top and take small cuts.
For optimal cutting results, only cut dry grass. Keep the machine away from solid objects in
order to protect the cutting blades against excessive wear.
