INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Bring the mounting strap horizontal into the
opening and mark the firebox wall where
the anchor will be inserted. Repeat this for
all four straps.
Remove the door, and using a 5/16" masonry
bit, drill holes where the anchor marks are at
least 1 1/2" deep. Place the lead anchors into
the holes (you may need to tap them home with
a hammer tap).
Place the door back onto the opening and
engage a mounting strap onto one of the key
studs. Next, thread a 1 1/4" screw through strap
into the anchor and tighten the screw while
making sure the door is tight against the
opening. Repeat this for the rest of the straps.
DOOR ADJUSTMENTS
4. Our Fireplace Glass Doors are fully
assembled and adjusted prior to leaving the
factory. However, the doors may have shifted
during shipment, and may require an
adjustment.
After installation check that the gaps at the
center and between the glass doors and
frame are even. If the gaps are the same but
the tops of the doors are not level, loosen the
mounting strap screws and move the bottom
of the frame towards the center of the the
door with the most gap at the top. Once
aligned, re-tighten the mounting strap screws.
