CHANGES:
Mint: Omit the vanilla and replace it with 1-1.5 teaspoons of pure peppermint extract (to taste). Cut your favorite
bittersweet or semisweet chocolate bar into small bumpy pieces. Add the chopped chocolate during the last 5 minutes
of mixing.
Butter and nuts: Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter in a pan. Add 240 g of coarsely chopped walnuts and 1 teaspoon of
salt. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often until the nuts are lightly browned. Remove from heat, strain (the
butter will have a nutty flavor and may be reserved for another use).
Allow the walnuts to cool completely. Add the toasted and buttered walnuts during the last 5 minutes of mixing.
Cookies and cream: add 180g of coarsely chopped cookies or your favorite candies (chocolate chips, Oreo., Etc.) during
the last 5 minutes of mixing.
CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM
Ingredients for 8 cups:
240g of whole milk
115g of granulated sugar
240g of chocolate in small pieces
240g of cream, very cold
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Heat the whole milk.
In a blender, mix the sugar with the chocolate until the chocolate is finely chopped.
Add the hot milk.
Transfer to a medium bowl and allow the chocolate mixture to cool completely. Stir in the cream and vanilla to taste.
Turn on the machine, pour the mixture into the basket and let it mix until well thickened, about 30-40 minutes.

CHANGES:
Almond with chocolate: add ½ teaspoon of pure almond extract along with the vanilla.
Add 180g of chopped toasted almonds or chopped chocolate covered almonds during the last 5-10 minutes of
freezing.
Chocolate biscuit: add 120g to 180g of chopped biscuits during the last 5 minutes of freezing.
Walnuts and Chocolate: Add ¾ cup of chopped walnuts fried in butter in the last 5 ~ 10 minutes of chocolate ice
cream.
STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM
Ingredients for 8 cups:
250g of fresh ripe strawberries
52.5g of freshly squeezed lemon juice
115g of sugar
240g of whole milk
240g of cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
In a small bowl, combine the strawberries with the lemon juice and 115g of sugar, mix gently and leave the
strawberries to soak in the juice for 2 hours.
