CAUTION:

Do not apply force to the spindle valve at the end of
opening (5 N.m or smaller). The back seat construction is
not provided.

At the test run, fully open the spindle. If not fully opened,
the devices will be damaged.
Flange Piping Connection

Confirm that the valve is closed.
Prepare a field-supplied bend pipe for liquid line. Connect it to
the liquid valve by flare nut through the square hole of bottom
base.
Cap. Tighten with
the indicated
torque

Prepare a field-supplied pipe for gas line. Solder it and the
factory-supplied pipe flange at the outside of the unit.
Connect the pipe flange to gas valve with the factory-supplied
gasket through the square hole of Bottom Base. Do not use
the gasket that had been attached to the unit.

11.4. PIPING AND REFRIGERANT CHARGE
11.4.1. REFRIGERANT PIPING LENGTH
The refrigerant piping between the indoor unit and the RASC
unit should be designed using the following chart. Keep the
design point within the dark area of the chart, wich is showing
the applicable height difference according to piping length.
