BEFORE USING
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for later reference. Never use the hairstyler in
the bathroom or near a full washbasin. Never try to pick up equipment that has fallen into water, but pull
the plug out of the socket first. Use the hairstyler with dry hands only.
This hairstyler has ceramic heating plates. The hairstyler can be used to remove curls from hair and is
also great for giving straight hair added bounce by creating locks and waves. The hairstyler also features
an extra-long rotatable cord.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Put the plug into the wall socket. When the appliance is turned on with the on/off switch, the indicator
lights on the top will illuminate. After about 2 minutes the appliance will be heated up and be ready for
use.
The hairstyler is only suitable for use when the hair is dry. Take a lock of hair of approximately 5m width
and comb it straight. Place the hair between the hot plates and close the tong firmly around the hair. For
best results, work from the roots to the tips of the hair. Hold the tong in position for a few seconds,
depending on your hair type. Take the hair out of the tong by loosening the tong and moving the hair
carefully away from the plates.
IONIC FUNCTION
The hairstyler comes with an integrated ionic generator. The ionic generator creates negative ions which
provide nourishment for the hair. Negative ions have a hydrating effect that makes hair healthier from
within. The hydrating effect prevents damage to the hair and leaves it healthier and easy to manage.
Note:
- Do not use the appliance when wet.
- Never use the appliance near water.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1. Remove the plug from the socket and allow the tong to cool for a few minutes.
2. Moisten a soft cloth with a dilute solution of mild detergent in warm water.
3. Use a damp cloth to wipe the appliance and the plates clean.
4. Wipe the appliance dry with a clean dry cloth and store in the original packaging when not in use.
5. Avoid damage and unnecessary wear to the cord by never wrapping it around the appliance. Always
wrap up the cord loosely.
PRINCESS TIPS
• Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Never leave the hairstyler
unguarded. You must not use the appliance when it is wet.
• Never use the appliance near water.
• Do not wind the cord too tightly around the appliance, as otherwise it may be damaged.
• Allow the product to cool down before putting it away.
• Do not lay a switched on and/or hot appliance on soft furnishings, such as a bed, cushion, etc.
• Instruct young children about the dangers and safety rules concerning electrical equipment.
• Never let young children use electrical equipment without supervision.
• Repairs and service should always be carried out by a qualified service expert.
• Do not use the equipment if it is damaged, or if the cord is damaged. Send it to a
qualified service expert. The cord on this type of appliance can only be replaced by a
qualified service expert using special tools.
