Heat the appliance up for a couple
of minutes without dough, in order
to eliminate possible manufac-
turing residues. Make sure the
room is well ventilated during this
process. After the initial heating
process the appliance might show
signs of wear, which do not affect
its features and do not constitute
a reason for rejection.
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE THE FIRST TIME
1.
Place the dough in the middle
of the lower waffle plate using a
ladle. The dough will be spread
evenly over the waffle plates by
closing the lid of the appliance.
Please make sure you use the right
quantity of dough. If the quantity
of dough is insufficient, the upper
part of the appliance does not
close properly and the upper side
of the waffles will not be as brown
as the lower side. If it is too much,
the dough will overflow and soil
the appliance and the worktop.
2.
Close the appliance immediately
after placing the dough, so that
the waffle will brown evenly on
both sides.
3.
A few seconds after placing the
dough, the green control lamp
turns off. The appliance will be
heated up again and the baking
process starts.
4.
The temperature control is adjus-
table: with a lower level adjust-
ment, the waffles will be light
brown and dark brown with a hig-
her level adjustment. Any other

Before first use, slightly grease
both waffle plates with heat resis-
tant grease like margarine, for
example, using a pastry brush (as
the waffle plates are non-stick
coated, greasing is only necessary
before the very first use).
6.
The appliance may generate a
slight smell when first using it,
which is absolutely normal.
7.

and should be thrown away.

lights: When both lights are illu-
minated, this means that the tem-
perature has again been reached,
however it does not mean that the
waffle is done. The bake time of
the waffle depends on the dough
used and your personal taste. Con-
sequently, before removing the
waffle, please check whether it is
done the way you want it.
6.
When the baking process is fini-
shed, the waffels are ready and
can be removed.
7.
If the waffles are not brown
enough, adjust the control to a
higher temperature. If the waffles
are too brown, adjust the control
to a lower temperature.
8.
The appliance may be filled with
dough immediately after remo-
ving the waffles. The green control
lamp turns off again.
9.
Repeat these steps until all dough
has been used.
